First Baptist Church of Porter embarked on a massive rebuild after their Education Building, Gym, and Fellowship Hall were tragically consumed in a fire. Their plans were to tear down the old education building, rebuild their Fellowship Hall and Gym from the bare studs, finish out some shell space in their newer Worship Center building for Youth, and build a new three story education building.
The first step was rebuilding their Gym and Fellowship Hall. Eternal Media Solutions developed a comprehensive design for their Gym and Fellowship Hall offering Sound and Projection in the Gym and offering Sound and Video Screens in their Fellowship Hall. Both rooms shared a rack for support equipment in their kitchen pantry.
The Gym consisted of a Behringer X32 system with stage boxes and four QSC Acoustic Performance Speakers and a QSC PLD 4.2 amplifier. A Christie Laser Phosphor Projector was utilized so maintenance was not needed on a regular basis.
The Fellowship Hall consisted of a Behringer X32 system with stage boxes and 24 Soundtube 8 inch ceiling speakers and a QSC CXD series amplifier. two 70 inch Sharp tv’s were utilized for video.
